This is a company that knows what it is talking about. A certified arborist and people who don't just chop off branches to make them appear neat but, rather take the time to remove weight and trim them as they should be. You get calls from helpful and friendly staff to take care of your concerns and to advise you that the crew is on its way. When you make an appointment you don't sit around all day with no one showing up. They SHOW UP and they do the work and in many cases go the extra mile. They are not the cheapest service but, they by far are worth the price. They see things you did not think of and have the ability to hear what you want and make it happen! We will not use anyone else!!!

After a large project involving planting trees and repairing faculty irrigation, there where a couple of issues that ment the grew come back out and make adjustments to the ground cover and the irrigations system. The grew did a great job and insured we were completely satisfied with the lit work. And we were more than satisfied, the crew was the best, with respect to customer service and technical skills. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

Phenomenal service and care. We called regarding having an arborist come out and they were able to send someone the very same day. We scheduled a follow up nutrient/fertilizer treatment service for our ficus trees and the technician, Haven, was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable and provided excellent service. He even got to the hard to reach trees around the pool with a “can-do” attitude and enthusiasm that you just don’t see much of these days. VERY impressed with how dedicated to providing great service and caring this brand and its reps are.

We had used Juan & his crew a few years ago to remove a tree that was blown over after a monsoon storm. Back then they did such a wonderful job that I used them again today. Juan is now with this company & again, did an amazing job. Juan & Chris came out to give us an estimate & at that time explained everything step by step of what would happen & that’s exactly how it went. We had 2 very large & 1 smaller Sissoo trees removed & the stumps grinded down & poisoned. Juan & Chris, who I communicated with during the process were both very professional, knowledgeable, kind, went above & beyond what I ever expected. The crew was on time, very hard working, had great time management, & cleaned up everything. Other than the trees being gone & the markers in the ground, there was absolutely no remaining remnants of them being here. I will definitely be looking into other services they offer & will be using them again.

The company trimmed a very large palo verde tree at a good price, cleaned up the yard, and probably saved several large limbs from breaking off. A windstorm earlier this year felled several such trees or limbs in the neighborhood.

I highly recommend using this company they do phenomenal work. Came to ver got my tree trimmed up and squared away in an hour. Anybody else it would have taken a day they arrived got straight to work and worked as hard as possible to get it done and to the best of their ability. Martin and his crew did such an amazing job on my Chilean Mesquite. They listened to my concerns about keeping the mourning dove nest intact, keeping the tree from impeding into the neighbor’s yard, and thinning it out. They exceeded my expectations on how they tree looked when finished, how they cleaned the limbs and debris, and their overall professionalism. I highly recommend these gents! Awesome job!

I would highly recommend this company for your landscape needs! My yard was a complete disaster!!! I had Sissoo Shoots growing all over the place, my yard was uneven (a fish bowl), I had dirt and rock all over the place, a broken water systems, and a dead Ficus. My yard was somewhere I couldn't enjoy and was embarrassed for people to see. The company completely helped me transform my back yard into an oasis. I am greatful for all of their help and professionalism. We even had a miscommunication and they didn't hesitate to make things right. I can't express my gratitude to the owner and all the crew members that helped me transform my yard into an enjoyable place to be. Thank you guys!!!

I have 2 really tall trees out front that would have taken me a day or two to cut down, chop into pieces, dispose, and then clean up afterwards... They make this look so easy! So fast, and cleaned up really well. Trees look much nicer than before. I wish I took a before photo of the tree in front because it was balding and dying at the top.

My backyard went from dirt and rocks to something my puppy and I can enjoy now. They are fair with their prices and use all the material that was purchased for the project in our yard. They worked efficiently and were fast to get started. They double-checked everything was the way we wanted it before getting started and again before placing it. We even got our trees up front pruned and the irrigation was replaced as well as a patio extension for my husband to grill on. Now we can enjoy taking the dog out. I would highly recommend them as we will be calling them back for the front yard! They even cleaned the street where the sand and gravel sat.

AZ Tree and Hardscape Co did not disappoint. The crew arrived early this morning to prune our 3 Palo Verde Trees. They were led by Haven Nunez who coordinated our wishes with the crew's pruning. A huge success! The owner Juan Nunez gave us a fair price and we will be going back to his company for future projects and Palo Verde annual pruning. From the front office customer service to Chris Nunez assessing our trees and giving us an initial quote to owner Juan approving the price to Haven supervision the job we were well pleased. The results are awesome.

AZ Tree & Hardscape was great to work with! I rely heavily on reviews myself so wanted to make sure I shared our experience. It was great! After trying a few different recommendations, I was having a hard time finding a company that would work with our specific scope and budget - we completed our landscape design separately and were hoping to do some items ourselves/ at a later time. AZ Tree and Hardscape was very accommodating and right away I could tell they were the best out of all the companies we called. They were very responsive with a quote. Their pricing was also very competitive and they fit us in the schedule right away (and were also honest and straightforward with some items that would need to take longer due to a backlog of work). On they field side, Juan was honest and straightforward throughout the process. Haven also did an awesome job with the work itself and communicating with us on a regular basis. Veronica and the others we worked with on the office side were also extremely helpful, friendly and communicative. All in all, I’d highly recommend these guys for your next project!

I’ve got a very big Palo Verde in my front yard that AZ Tree treated and trimmed 2 years ago. They were fast and efficient with 3 in the tree and 2 on the ground. We needed to have a tree removed. But we also needed the root ball fully removed so we could plant a new box tree in its place. These guys did an excellent job of removing the tree and the whole root system below ground. Other vendors we got quotes from would not remove the entire root ball. Rather they wanted to just grind the stump down 6". That would not work for our purposes. They always arrived on time at the agreed upon date for estimates and the work. We were very, very happy with the job AZ Tree and Hardscape did for us and would gladly use them again when the need arises.

AZ Tree did an amazing job thinning my mesquite tree. They take the time to discuss the tree's condition & what shape I wanted. Plus they show up ON TIME with their own chipper. 100% CLEAN UP. Will continue to use the professionals @ AZ Tree & Hardscape.

This landscape company is AMAZING, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Juan came out to my place and gave me an estimate to remove 6 tall Palm Trees in my backyard; the estimate was very reasonable for the task at hand. Haven and his crew arrived on time, the very next day, and Haven walked me through step-by-step the process to remove the palm trees. They took extra precautions to protect the artificial turf to ensure no damage was done to it. Haven took the time to clean my pool, and even went over to my neighbor’s yards to clean up their mess from debris that fell into their yards. Once the project was completed (half a day) I stood there and was smiling from ear-to-ear at my new BEAUTIFUL backyard! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!

We had AZ Tree and Hardscape out to repair/replace our concrete curbing that was damaged by a rock truck, not their company, and they made a seem less replacement and laid a beautiful section for our turf, and they double checked with me on placement before pouring. We had a sissou tree stump that needed to removed. Haven and the crew arrived on time, were very professional and the best part? Afterwards, you couldn't even tell they were there! I expected to see a mess and a big hole where the stump was. It was leveled and cleaned up as if nothing happened. They were great! Highly recommend!

I have used AZ Tree and Hardscape, a number of times. They are always on time and priced fairly for the work I have asked them to perform. The tree I had them trim over the past two years, I had them finally remove it, it was a Sissoo Tree and that tree is very destructive to the water pipes and sewer system. They remove it, ground the stump down and place tree root killer on the stump. They will be back to inspect it and make sure the roots are not coming back. They have done a great job of communicating ahead of time when the crew would come out so we could be prepared. Last week, one of the trees (Willow Acacia) in my front yard almost toppled over during a monsoon storm. Because it was leaning toward the sidewalk, I was concerned it might fall at any time and considered it a safety hazard. Therefore, I called three different tree removal companies for estimates and AZ Tree and Hardscape Company was the only one to respond back to me the same day. Further, one of their Arborists (Juan) came out within a few hours of my initial call to assess the situation and he provided me with a reasonable price to cut down and remove my tree. The AZ Tree and Landscape crew showed up on time. There was enough workers to get both jobs( front and back yards)done in a timely manner. The crew didn’t mess around. Got in and got out. The tree in the backyard hasn’t had a good trim in several years. The team member was in the middle of this thing for 2 hours. When all said and done, the tree looked way different than when they started, and that’s a good thing. It looks much happier. The palm in front was skinned and fronds were removed. The crew working this tree had their hands full as it was a little windy. A big mess, but they got the job done. Both crews had a system that worked very well. I would definitely hire AZ Tree and Landscape again!

These guys are great. Juan, Chris, Greta and their whole crew. No messing around, these guys get it done and fast. We had 1,100 sq ft of travertine installed to tie our new pool and patio together, the results are beautiful. The night the job was completed we had 2 inches of rain. There was a small problem due to erosion and again, 1 call and it was fixed.

Second time within 6 months AZ Tree and Landscape has done work for us. We had turf and pavers done both with front and backyard. They do a great job and we will continue to use them for future work. They even added steps outside the doggie door with turf inlaid in the middle of the pavers for my pooches. We didn't even ask for it or pay extra. Just small details they did on their own. Our dogs truly have a custom area that looks nice and is functional in addition to the other areas of our yard.

It was great working with AZ Tree and Hardscape Co. They were very professional and friendly through the whole process. I needed a tree planted in my front yard. They sent me some options for trees based on the recommendations from their experts. They were up front with me as far as the price for the tree and install and scheduled me within a week and a half. They showed up on my scheduled day and had the tree planted within an hour or so. They did a great job I am very pleased! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping work.

We’ve lived here almost 20 years, and by far the AZ Tree and Hardscape Company did the best job ever on our landscaping. They removed 9 cactus and replanted 8 new ones along with rearranging some boulders. Additionally they trimmed 3 palms and removed all the dead debris. Their employees were professional and definitely knew what they were doing!! Their clean up was superb!! ! I know in the spring we’ll be calling them to trim our trees!! We would highly recommend this company!!

My experience with this company was all good! They showed up literally right on time! They moved quickly but efficiently from tree to tree. They did not over trim. They removed all loose husks. Fertilized crowns and roots. And they left it’s so clean you couldn’t even tell other than the trees being trimmed that they were ever there. It was the best money I’ve ever spent on a landscaping company. Would highly recommend them!

They were knowledgeable, prompt, friendly and informative. They left my yard looking better than it was before they came. I had 3 trees and a bush removed and 7 bushes planted. I also had my 20 year old drip irrigation system changed for new throughout the whole yard. They took me around and showed me that the new irrigation was working for each plant as well instructed me on how the system worked. The men were very hard workers and very friendly. I normally don’t write very many reviews but I was so impressed by the work I just had to. I also thought they were fairly priced. Update I had AZ come back and install pavers in my back yard as well as a drain to pull water away from my patio. They did an amazing job. It turned out better than I imagined. They went above and beyond what I asked for. I couldn’t be more pleased. I referred them to my sister as well and they were extremely happy with the job they did for them as well.

I wish I had taken before and after photos because their work in my front and back yards was such a dramatic improvement! The work crew was on time and well equipped to blitz the yard and attended to every little detail from tree and palm trimming to palm and plant fertilizing, installing new plants and cactus, putting out a 3month guaranteed emergent and checking and double checking all of the irrigation systems. They cleaned up everything and hauled away all the debris, too! Totally satisfied with their work and professionalism and highly recommend them to you for your residential properties, too! Oh, I nearly neglected to mention that the owner provided a simple and straightforward quote in advance so my husband and I were 100% clear on the work included and the price. Totally awesome experience!

I love AZ Tree & Hardscape!!! These guys did an amazing job on our 5 acres with all the trees we needed removed, beetle treated and trimmed. Az Tree and Hardscape (formerly Surprise Tree Service) has done several tree trimming jobs and tree removal for our condo association over the last year. AZ Tree and Hardscape Co. has done three jobs for me so far, all to perfection! They replaced my old irrigation system and added water lines to my three citrus trees, which are surrounded by flagstone. They came with two plans, and they were able to tunnel under the flagstone, avoiding tearing up the flagstone. I was so delighted. They also tore up two sections of poorly laid flagstone by another landscaper that were trip hazards, and AZ Tree and Hardscape did an awesome job. They also laid 6 tons of stone in my front yard, as well as created a walkway from the front to the back yard using the old flagstone pieces from the tear up. My yard looks better than I ever imagined. AZ Tree and Hardscape crews are timely, professional, courteous, hard working, clean up after themselves, and do not leave the job until I say I am satisfied. The Owner came to each job to ensure his crew knew exactly what the job entailed. I am extremely satisfied with AZ Tree and Hardscape Co.

AZ TREE AND HARDSCAPE is a wonderful company! Juan and his team of arbor experts get the job done and done correctly. They have removed a huge ash tree from my front yard and cleared fruit trees and bushes from my backyard, while planting two beautiful Pom Pom Juniper trees! The AZ tree and Hardscape team did a great job pruning and shaping our 4 Palo Verde trees. They also treated our mesquite tree for beatle infestation, pruned and re-shaped it and were able to save the tree. Good people to work with.

I plan to use them for all future projects. They are a little bit more expensive than other companies but the service makes it 100% worth it. I have used 3 other landscapers and trying to get a hold of them and get a price breakdown ahead of time is a nightmare. AZ Tree & Hardscape Co was easy to get a hold of, prompt when they showed up and I got full quote broken down for each task in my yard so I could choose what was in my budget for this time and plan for future projects. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and plan to have them back soon.

These guys were awesome to work with! Responsive, communicative, brought my idea into fruition and built it very efficiently. 10/10 would recommend. I'm a single young professional and find it difficult to take time off to meet contractors for early morning or afternoon appointments. Juan, the owner of the company learned I had called in but couldn't make any of the available appointments and he still came over after hours to do an inspection and put a quote together for me. This team responded with short notice and delivered a great product. I just moved into this rental that has a 20 year old mesquite tree that had not been cared for and was over grown over the parking and walking path and created a hazard with continual bird droppings and in desperation I called this team and they responded swiftly and worked with quick hands and left this property more beautiful than when we first saw. I’ve used this business several times over the past couple of years., The estimate and scheduling process, along with communication from the front office was excellent. The crews have always done excellent work and cleanup. Excellent! Chris and his crew did a wonderful job. Had a tree trimmed & fertilizer, catcus removed and another dead plant removed. The clean up was so good they even sweeped the street. AZ Tree and Hardscape removed a large tree from our backyard, which hung over our neighbors year and over our BBQ area. The removal was perfect and no signs remain that it existed, nothing was damaged in the process. Our neighbors yard was not adversely affected and we couldn't be more pleased with the service. The crew was very friendly and very professional. I would not hesitate to use them again should it be necessary and recommend them to anyone.

We hired AZ Tree and Hardscape to remove a dangerously leaning Jacaranda tree and the stump. The entire process was very simple with the end result exceptional. The crew arrived exactly on time and performed the tree removal in choreographed measure. One person climbed the tree, dropped a rope and pulled up the chainsaw. The tree removal began at the top and soon the job was complete. Somebody wheeled in the stump grinder and soon that was complete too! I am very happy with AZ Tree’s work and would gladly hire them for tree or other work.

I contracted with this service to remove an older mesquite tree. They came out promptly to assess the tree as I had concerns over whether to trim or remove it. Juan found structural issues that others missed and we scheduled the removal. The employees were on-time, professional and answered all my questions about the process. I hired AZ Tree and Hardscape to remove 5 large and overgrown Rosemary bushes. The team showed up early and took every precaution to not damage any irrigation, landscaping lighting or other plants. They completed the job quickly and cleaned up everything perfectly. This is the second project I have hired AZ Tree and Hardscape to do and both times i was very happy with the team and the work performed. The teams were both very respectful and professional exceeding all expectations. Awesome Company! We hired Juan and his crew to trim several of our trees, remove a couple of stumps, and take down a large dead cottonwood tree. Juan, the owner, was responsive and knowledgeable. He was able to walk us through issues with the trees and what was needed. His quote was better than our previous trimmer, and he seemed to know more about each tree and their individual needs. He reached out after a cancellation and was able to get his crew out earlier than expected. The crew was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Chris, the site supervisor, kept my wife informed of everything they were doing and was very customer service oriented. All of the equipment appeared to be new, and they appeared to have everything they needed for a large job. We will definitely be using them again, and we look forward to working with them. Cannot say enough good things about them!

I was advised to contact an Arborist regarding my mature Pepper tree. There is brown leaves and branches look like the tree is not healthy and dying. I was not sure if the tree just needed more water. Per my conversation, with AZ Tree & Hardscape I was asked to take pictures of the tree and they would review before coming out in person. After the consultation, I was told that the tree needed to be treated and fertilized. Now we wait and see.

We used AZ Tree and Landscape, Juan Nunez met me at job site, took pictures, answered my questions, very professional. With the way customer service is nowadays, it was refreshing dealing with Greta, quick response to my emails, detail oriented, just a pleasure working with her. The crew that came out arrived during given time frame, went right to work, completed job in such a professional, detailed way. They cleaned off drive way and the areas of tree removal and stump grinding looked better than when they arrived, even swept street area where mulching truck was. Very pleased with experience and will use them again and will refer them as needed.

Juan and his crew have been working on my home for several months now. They always do a terrific job trimming the many bushes and trees on my property. I recently had to remove some bushes that had died from the Summer heat and they did a good job there too. The drip system needed to be replaced and they also did a good job there. Juan and crew transformed our gravel backyard into a great outdoor living space with pavers and artificial turf. He returned our call immediately and scheduled an onsite appointment for the next day. He listened carefully to everything we wanted, answered our questions and made suggestions for our space. We received a quote later the same day with an option to install within a week. Since we are only here for the winter months, that was great news for us as we would have plenty of time to enjoy the space. We scheduled the appointment. The crew notified us that they could arrive a day early for some prep work and we happily accepted. The entire backyard was completed the next day. Juan was here both days to insure that the job proceeded as planned and to our satisfaction. The clean up was great and the final product was perfect! We would 100% recommend Juan and his crew, and have done so already to 2 of our neighbors.
