Last week, one of the trees (Willow Acacia) in my front yard almost toppled over during a monsoon storm. Because it was leaning toward the sidewalk, I was concerned it might fall at any time and considered it a safety hazard. Therefore, I called three different tree removal companies for estimates and AZ Tree and Hardscape Company was the only one to respond back to me the same day. We had used Juan & his crew a few years ago to remove a tree that was blown over after a monsoon storm. Back then they did such a wonderful job that I used them again today. Juan is now with this company & again, did an amazing job. Juan & Chris came out to give us an estimate & at that time explained everything step by step of what would happen & that’s exactly how it went. We had 2 very large & 1 smaller Sissoo trees removed & the stumps grinded down & poisoned. We needed to have a tree removed. But we also needed the root ball fully removed so we could plant a new box tree in its place. These guys did an excellent job of removing the tree and the whole root system below ground. Other vendors we got quotes from would not remove the entire root ball. Rather they wanted to just grind the stump down 6". That would not work for our purposes. They always arrived on time at the agreed upon date for estimates and the work. The tree in the backyard hasn’t had a good trim in several years. The team member was in the middle of this thing for 2 hours. When all said and done, the tree looked way different than when they started, and that’s a good thing. It looks much happier. The palm in front was skinned and fronds were removed. Juan came out to my place and gave me an estimate to remove 6 tall Palm Trees in my backyard; the estimate was very reasonable for the task at hand. Haven and his crew arrived on time, the very next day, and Haven walked me through step-by-step the process to remove the palm trees. They took extra precautions to protect the artificial turf to ensure no damage was done to it. Haven took the time to clean my pool, and even went over to my neighbor’s yards to clean up their mess from debris that fell into their yards. Juan and crew transformed our gravel backyard into a great outdoor living space with pavers and artificial turf. He returned our call immediately and scheduled an onsite appointment for the next day. He listened carefully to everything we wanted, answered our questions and made suggestions for our space. We received a quote later the same day with an option to install within a week. Since we are only here for the winter months, that was great news for us as we would have plenty of time to enjoy the space. We scheduled the appointment. They were knowledgeable, prompt, friendly and informative. They left my yard looking better than it was before they came. I had 3 trees and a bush removed and 7 bushes planted. I also had my 20 year old drip irrigation system changed for new throughout the whole yard. They took me around and showed me that the new irrigation was working for each plant as well instructed me on how the system worked. The men were very hard workers and very friendly. Awesome Company! We hired Juan and his crew to trim several of our trees, remove a couple of stumps, and take down a large dead cottonwood tree. Juan, the owner, was responsive and knowledgeable. He was able to walk us through issues with the trees and what was needed. His quote was better than our previous trimmer, and he seemed to know more about each tree and their individual needs. He reached out after a cancellation and was able to get his crew out earlier than expected. The crew was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I was advised to contact an Arborist regarding my mature Pepper tree. There is brown leaves and branches look like the tree is not healthy and dying. I was not sure if the tree just needed more water. Per my conversation, with AZ Tree & Hardscape I was asked to take pictures of the tree and they would review before coming out in person. We had a sissou tree stump that needed to removed. Haven and the crew arrived on time, were very professional and the best part? Afterwards, you couldn't even tell they were there! I wish I had taken before and after photos because their work in my front and back yards was such a dramatic improvement! The work crew was on time and well equipped to blitz the yard and attended to every little detail from tree and palm trimming to palm and plant fertilizing, installing new plants and cactus, putting out a 3month guaranteed emergent and checking and double checking all of the irrigation systems. We hired AZ Tree and Hardscape to remove a dangerously leaning Jacaranda tree and the stump. The entire process was very simple with the end result exceptional. The crew arrived exactly on time and performed the tree removal in choreographed measure. One person climbed the tree, dropped a rope and pulled up the chainsaw. The tree removal began at the top and soon the job was complete. Somebody wheeled in the stump grinder and soon that was complete too! AZ Tree and Hardscape Co. has done three jobs for me so far, all to perfection! They replaced my old irrigation system and added water lines to my three citrus trees, which are surrounded by flagstone. They came with two plans, and they were able to tunnel under the flagstone, avoiding tearing up the flagstone. I was so delighted. They also tore up two sections of poorly laid flagstone by another landscaper that were trip hazards, and AZ Tree and Hardscape did an awesome job. They also laid 6 tons of stone in my front yard, as well as created a walkway from the front to the back yard using the old flagstone pieces from the tear up. My yard looks better than I ever imagined. AZ Tree and Hardscape crews are timely, professional, courteous, hard working, clean up after themselves, and do not leave the job until I say I am satisfied.
